“ LOVELY food spot — I really enjoyed it. The mango chicken was so good and had lovely heat; garlic naan was amazing, and the vegetable pakora definitely had me wanting to order a second ”
“ Excellent food - every time! We’ve tried various items on the menu and are always delighted. I’ve never had such juicy chicken before, yum! Our server Navneet was prompt and polite, great service. ”

“ My tawa rotis, Dal Turka, and chai were so delicious. Highly reccomend. Prices were fair and high quality ingredients and flavour profiles. And the server Param was very professional, warm, and attentive. Thanks for a great meal and environment :) Happy heart and belly. ”
“ Had a great time here the other evening. Showed up 45mins before closing, after doing the Chief, thinking the kitchen might be closed but we were able to eat outside in the lovely evening and served our meal in takeaway containers so we could easily leave with the food. The service was fantastic and we spoke with one of the owners at the end of the night. All round great experience :) ”
“ My husband and I had a very good experience here tonight so when I got back to the hotel I was surprised to see a couple of negative comments. I’ll compare Indian Spice to our usual Indian restaurant (in Sidney, BC). First, for a Friday night at dinner time, we were seated quickly. Our server, Navneet, smiled and greeted us when we arrived and gave us the best available booth. Chai tea was not on the menu and when I asked her if it was possibly available, she was happy to have it made for us and asked if we wanted it sweetened. Chai’s spices change according to the maker’s taste — ours had a little more fennel and a little less cardamom but it was tasty and hot. Perfect on a cold, rainy evening. For an appetizer we splurged on Samosa with Chana. The serving dish was full to the brim. The home made vegetable samosas were covered in a very tasty and slightly hot chic pea / tomato / red onion sauce. We had not had this before. It was filling and very good. The mains were Lamb Masala (his choice — I would have chosen Goat Masala) which was slightly lemony and Dal Makhani which was slightly sweet. They worked really well together. Rice or breads (of which there is a wide selection) was extra. If we hadn’t filled up on the appetizer I would have insisted on trying one of the traditional desserts. Based on how good the dishes were, I suspect the desserts would have been home made, too. Every dish was delicious. The spicing was Medium, as we requested. There was no up selling — in fact, I heard Navneet making suggestions to a table of 3 hungry men based on what she thought would best fit their requests and not a more expensive menu item. The restrooms were clean. I gave the atmosphere a 4 only because the background music was a little loud but I didn’t ask to have it turned down. Both of us would eat here again. ”
